The General Curia hosted the second meeting of the Enlarged General Definitory on 2-4 November 2016, attended by Brothers Jesús Etayo (Prior General), Rudolf Knopp, Giampietro Luzzato, Benigno Ramos, Pascal Ahodegnon, Joseph Smith, José M. Bermejo, Moisés Martín Boscá, and André Sène (secretary General).

The Enlarged Definitory discussed a number of agenda items left pending since the previous April meeting, before turning to the agenda for the day, which included setting up the Preparatory Commission for the 2019 General Chapter, organising the 2018 Provincial Chapters, and the forthcoming Assembly of Major Superiors (to be held next week).

The officials of the General Commissions and the individual Regions reported on their activities during the year, and then discussed the “The future of the Order”, taking account of the measures already adopted and the suggestions made to encourage further discussions throughout the Order.
