The tragic events that have stunned Brussels occurred in the European Union district, which includes the Hospitaller Order’s Hospitality Europe office. The Maalbeek Metro station is only a few hundred metres from the office.

Dr. Carlo Galasso had stayed on in Italy following the Europe Regional Conference last week in Naples, and was thankfully not in harms way.

The management of the building housing the Hospitality Europe office has announced that the whole building will remain closed on Wednesday, March 23, and probably also on Thursday and Friday, March 24 and 25 on security grounds.
